martinkelley 15 Nevada City The property is on a hill but has many terraced areas. The original owners put alot of work into creating a farm. It has not been farmed in over 15 years but the orchards and grapes are still producing. The soil seems to need some lime to help in the vegetable garden but otherwise it is a nice brown shale mix of soil.We have several locations that have great sun exposure from morning to evening. The previous farmers planned very well. There is irrigation through out the property with room to expand or refine with better water control. The established orchards and garden areas need some attending and replanting.
